Rooted in Peace. Powered by Curiosity. Built for Brilliance.

Jain Montessori – Where Wonder Meets Wisdom

Jain Montessori is a boutique preschool serving children ages 3–6, blending Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and nature-based learning. We offer a peaceful, academically rich environment where curiosity leads, literacy is loved, and life skills are learned through joyful, intentional work.

What sets Jain Montessori Apart?

Practical Life + Nature + Play

Hands-On Learning, Life Skills & Nature Play

At Jain, children care for animals, garden, scrub cloths by hand, cook, clean, and create. Our practical life and nature-based activities nurture independence, responsibility, and connection. Through seasonal play, mud kitchens, and movement, childhood is honored the way it was meant to be , messy, magical, and meaningful.

Literacy + Art + Peace Education

Literacy-Rich, Arts-Infused & Rooted in Peace

Our program fuses Montessori’s complete language system with the Science of Reading and Waldorf’s whole language approach. Children learn to read and write in an environment filled with story, song, and creativity. Daily circle time cultivates emotional regulation, mindfulness, and empathy, building not just scholars but humans with heart.

Rooted in Ritual. Open to Wonder.

Jain's Daily Rhythm...

8:30–9:00 AM – Arrival & Outdoor Play
Children are welcomed into our outdoor space to start the day with movement, exploration, and connection. They tend the garden, and greet friends while gently transitioning into the school rhythm.
9:00 AM – Morning Circle
We gather in community to center ourselves with meditation, breathwork, songs, and stories. We talk about the day, check in with our feelings, and prepare our minds and hearts for learning.
9:30 AM – Work Cycle & Practical Life
Children engage in hands-on exploration using Montessori materials, life skill trays, nature provocations, and art invitations. This is a sacred, uninterrupted time for deep concentration, independence, and joyful learning.
11:00 AM – Outdoor Exploration
We return outside for more adventurous play, animal care, nature walks, and seasonal work. Our mud kitchen, climbing logs, and garden tools are always ready for discovery.
12:00 PM – Lunch & Table Setting
Children help set the table, serve each other, and eat together family-style. We model grace and courtesy, have conversation, and share gratitude before and during meals.
1:00 PM – Rest & Quiet Time
The lights go low, the energy slows down. Children may nap, color, journal, or quietly read while calming music plays.
2:00 PM – Art, Projects & Play
Children revisit unfinished work, dive into long-form projects, paint at the easel, build with friends, or enjoy sensory invitations and dramatic play in our project space.
2:45 PM – Closing Circle
We end the day with a community check-in, compliments, storytelling, and reflection. Children share what went well, resolve small conflicts, and leave with a full heart.
3:00PM- Goodbye7:00-5:30 We offer extended care hours.

Meet the Director

Ms.Rachelle

Hi, I’m Rachelle - Director and Co-founder of Jain Montessori. I’m an artist at heart, a mom to two amazing daughters, and I’ve been teaching young children since 2013.When I first discovered the Montessori method, everything clicked. It wasn’t just a teaching style — it was a philosophy that aligned perfectly with how I believe children learn best: through hands-on exploration, independence, and joy. Earning my Montessori certification has been one of the most heartfelt and rewarding journeys of my life.My passion lies in creating a warm, nurturing space where children can experience the magic of learning and create a strong foundation for the rest of their lives. I believe in making a difference in the earliest chapters of a child’s story — where self-esteem is built, wonder is celebrated, and a lifelong love of learning begins. And that’s exactly what we’re building here at Jain Montessori.I can’t wait to welcome you to our school family.
